M. Scott Milius
Managing Director
Mr. Milius was most recently a Managing Director/Partner of Genstar Capital, a leading mid-market private equity firm with approximately $900 million under management. At Genstar, Mr. Milius targeted the business services and healthcare services sectors, with an emphasis of business process outsourcing and technology-enabled services. He was focused on $20 million to $75 million control equity investments in buyout, recapitalization and growth transactions.
Previously, Mr. Milius was a principal and one of four co-founders of Gryphon Investors, a mid-market private equity partnership with more than $500 million of capital under management. He was responsible for acquisitions, divestitures and oversight of portfolio companies in a wide range of industries, with an emphasis on business services and outsourcing- related transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Milius was an Associate at Golder, Thoma, Cressey & Rauner (GTCR) where he was involved in sourcing and executing transactions in various service industry sectors. He began his career in investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co.
Mr. Milius is a current or former director of Oasis Outsourcing, AXIA Health Management, Provider Healthnet, TASQ Technology and Cummins Utility Supply.
Mr. Milius received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also earned a B.B.A with Distinction from the University of Michigan.
